    Bilingual / English as a Second Language/ Title III, Part A 
        The goal is to provide professional development and technical assistance for  
        the purpose of improving the academic achievement of Limited English
        Proficient (LEP) students in the areas of:
        - Bilingual /ESL/Title III program administration/ implementation
        - Professional development opportunities for Bilingual/ESL educators
        - Instructional strategies for Bilingual/ESL educators 
        - Curriculum modifications for Bilingual/ESL 
        - Support for state and federal initiatives

    Title III, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), as reauthorized under the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB), aims to ensure that English language learner (ELL) and immigrant students attain English language proficiency and meet the same challenging State academic content and student academic achievement standards as all children are expected to meet.
